The best part is that you spray it on when the chain is warm, it soaks in and dries without being sticky and doesn't fling off. The lack of tack, if you will, prevents sand and grit from sticking to the rollers and o-rings and causing premature wear. Oh and not flinging all over the bike is a great thing too.
